I Want to Build the Most Respected Conference in Our Industry

Hello everyone. Today, I would like to discuss the upcoming Globevisa Global Citizen Conference, which will take place on October 26 and 27 in Hong Kong.

We hosted our inaugural event in Singapore last year. As we prepare for our second gathering in Hong Kong, I want to share the practical logic and the long-term objective behind this initiative.

Bringing Five Key Groups Together

The operational concept for the Global Citizen Conference is quite straightforward. Our goal is to gather five distinct groups within a single professional environment:

1. Government Representatives: Officials from various jurisdictions.

2. Program Providers: The organizations managing and operating specific immigration routes.

3. Industry Peers: Established firms and practitioners across mainland China, Southeast Asia, Japan, and other regions.

4. Channel Partners: Professionals from related sectors, including private bankers, real estate agencies, and family offices.

5. Our Clients: The final and most important group of attendees.

A Platform for Mutual Benefit

While presenting immigration programs is naturally a part of our business, my objective for this conference extends beyond standard service promotion.

I want to establish a functional platform where governments have the opportunity to holistically promote their countries. Simultaneously, I want our clients and channel partners to use this venue to discover genuine international business opportunities. The underlying idea is to create a setting where every participating party can derive tangible, practical benefits from interacting with one another.

Patience and the Long-Term View

I recognize that aiming to perfectly align the interests of governments, peers, partners, and clients might sound a bit unrealistic today. In the short term, building such a comprehensive ecosystem is undeniably difficult.

However, I am a very patient person, and Globevisa operates on a long-term timeline.

This October marks only our second conference. I do not expect this iteration to be flawless. Yet, I am certain that we will improve the model year by year. It may take five, seven, or perhaps ten years of consistent refinement. Eventually, we will realize this vision.

It is a long journey, but my goal is to steadily build this into the most respected conference in our industry. We will continue to put in the work to make that happen.
