German Opportunity Card

University graduates with a bachelor's degree or higher may apply for Germany's Opportunity Card. Language proficiency (B2 for English or A1 for German) may be required depending on the program specifics.Opportunity Card holders can stay in Germany for one year (extendable) for job searching meanwhile enjoy free movement within the Schengen Area.

Once employed,applicantscansecure a work visa or Blue Card, and available to apply for permanent residency as early as 21 months later.

Application Requirements

A.Professionals with German-recognized qualifications and strong English-speaking skills can apply directly without a points-based system.

B.Direct application is possible if you meet the following criteria:

1)Bachelor's degree or higher

2)English proficiency at B2 level or higher (IELTS 5+ or TOEFL 72+) / German at A1 level

C.Other applicants will be assessed through a points system; a score of 6 or higher qualifies for application.
