Investor Visa
Italy Investor Visa
The Italian government introduced the Investment Visa in 2017, offering four investment models:
-
Invest €2 million in government bonds;
-
Invest €500,000 in Italian company shares/stocks/bank funds;
-
Invest €250,000 in Italian startup companies;
-
Donate €1 million to Italian public welfare projects.
Among these, investing €500,000 in Italian company shares/stocks/bank funds is the preferred choice for most applicants, and Global primarily provides services for this model. Investing €500,000 (approximately ¥4 million) in such assets features an official approval process taking only 30 days, making it a rapid pathway to obtain a European Golden Visa. It is also one of the few major European programs that grants status first before requiring the investment payment.
The Golden Residence Permit is valid for 2 years, renewable for 3-year terms indefinitely with the investment maintained. After 5 years, applicants can transition to EU permanent residency, enjoying high-quality residency, work, education, and medical benefits across 27 EU countries.
