Macao Talent Recruitment System

The Talent Admission Scheme aims to attract outstanding professionals who meet the economic and social development needs of the Macao Special Administrative Region, contribute to its appropriately diversified economy, and in particular help drive the growth of key industries—namely big health, modern finance, high technology, and the cultural and sports sectors. Applicants should possess proven professional experience and technical expertise, with distinguished performance in their respective fields or industries.

Latest Update: The third phase of the Talent Admission Scheme has officially launched. The application period runs from 2 December 2025 to 1 December 2026. Outstanding talents from all sectors are warmly invited to seize this opportunity and take part in shaping Macao’s future development.

Application Requirement

  1. Age: 21 years old or above;

  2. Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher, graduated from one of the world’s top 50 universities, with both degree and graduation certificates. (If this requirement is not met, an annual income of at least MOP 2,000,000 is required.) Reference: World University Rankings with Public Credibility;

  3. Work Experience: At least 10 years of full-time work experience in industries such as big health, high technology, modern finance, cultural and sports industries, or the MICE and trade sector;

  4. Annual Income: At least MOP 1,000,000 (applicants must provide supporting documents, such as individual income tax statements matching the income level, or bank statements showing transfers from the employer to the personal account with the remark “salary”);

  5. Points System: A total of 200 points out of 300 must be achieved (Third Phase Macao Talent Admission Points Table);

  6. Travel Document: No Hong Kong “D” endorsement on the Exit–Entry Permit for Hong Kong and Macao;

  7. Background: No criminal record, not prohibited from entering the Macao Special Administrative Region, and not refused by a Macao talent scheme within the past year.

Note: The most critical requirement is achieving at least 200 points under the points-based assessment.
