CEO's POV: Why Globevisa Chose B2C Over B2B | 80% of Our Business Comes from Referrals

Hello everyone. In this update, I would like to address a common assumption about how Globevisa Group operates and explain the logic behind our core business model.

When people look at Globevisa and see that we operate approximately 195 different immigration programs, there is a natural tendency to assume we must function as a B2B (Business-to-Business) aggregator. The assumption is that because we have so many program providers, our primary focus is managing intermediary partners.

This is a significant misunderstanding. In reality, the exact opposite is true. Globevisa operates almost entirely on a B2C (Business-to-Consumer) model. We have tested the B2B approach in the past, and today, it accounts for perhaps 1% of our total volume.

Here is why we maintain a strict focus on working directly with our clients.

The Logic Behind the B2C Strategy

I view the B2C model as the correct long-term strategy for our industry. The operational logic is straightforward: you conduct marketing, generate inquiries, secure an agreement, and then deliver excellent service. If you execute that final step properly, that individual becomes a lifetime client. Over time, satisfied clients will recommend your services to their friends and colleagues.

Globevisa is a data-driven organization. Based on our current metrics, 80% of our business today comes directly from referrals by existing clients. It does not come from B2B channels or new marketing initiatives.

While a B2B model can generate revenue in the short term, I do not believe it is a viable long-term strategy for us. When you operate through intermediaries, you lose direct communication with the actual client. Furthermore, expecting lifetime loyalty from a commercial B2B partner is an optimistic assumption at best. Over time, intermediaries will naturally gravitate toward cheaper program providers to increase their own margins.

You cannot expect a B2B partner to hold a lifetime loyalty to your brand. However, you can certainly earn that level of loyalty from a well-served client. In that sense, every individual client we serve becomes our most valuable long-term partner.

Redefining Client Service: Speed Meets Professionalism

To build these lifetime relationships, you have to carefully consider the type of service clients actually need. Currently, I am focused on combining the strengths of Western and Eastern service models.

● The Western Approach: Highly professional, meticulous, and legally rigorous.

● The Eastern Approach: Highly responsive, efficient, and deeply service-oriented.

There is no reason we cannot combine the two. Our goal is to provide the highly professional feedback typical of a reputable law firm, but deliver it with the speed of a modern service enterprise—providing answers within a day, an hour, or even minutes.

This is simply a matter of respecting the client and their time. To raise this standard of service, we are currently developing internal systems utilizing artificial intelligence. These tools are designed with one specific goal: whenever a client has an issue, we can provide them with the accurate answer in the shortest possible timeframe.

The Importance of Singular Focus

People often ask if a company can successfully run both B2B and B2C models simultaneously. My answer is no.

Time and focus are limited resources. If you want to do something exceptionally well, you must eliminate distractions and focus your attention. I recognize the limits of my own focus, which is why Globevisa dedicates 99% of its operational capacity strictly to the B2C model.

The B2C approach can present operational challenges in the short term. It requires significant upfront effort to build trust one client at a time. However, in the long term, it yields sustainable results and lifetime client relationships.

We intend to stick to this business model for the next twenty years, simply because it is the right long-term strategy for our clients and our company.

Thank you for reading.
