Greece Digital Nomad Visa

Due to the impact of the pandemic, an increasing number of individuals and businesses are considering remote work options. In response to this shifting market demand, in 2021, Greece introduced a legislative proposal to the parliament. This proposal aimed to offer a one-year (renewable) digital nomad visa to foreign nationals engaged in remote work, self-employment, or employment with companies based outside of Greece.

Similar to many countries worldwide, Greece aspired to attract and accommodate a growing community of remote workers, recognizing their potential for increased economic activity. As a result, Greece now permits eligible applicants who meet the essential criteria to enter the country.
