Antigua and Barbuda passport holders are now granted visa-free access to 165 jurisdictions, having topped the list of OECS, according to the latest notification from the country’s Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU), received by GLOBEVISA GROUP.
Antigua and Barbuda citizens used to be allowed to enter 150 countries and regions without a visa. Since Nov 4th, 2019, the number has increased to 165, which makes visa-free mobility of Antigua and Barbuda passport the strongest among that of all Organisation of Eastern Caribbean (OECS) member states.
Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment Program, thus, is believed to have become more competitive in the immigration market. The program enables successful applicants to obtain this strongest passport by making a minimum investment of USD 200,000.
In addition to Antigua and Barbuda, other OECS member states that also offer worldwide potential immigrants citizenship by investment programs include St. Kitts and Nevis, Commonwealth of Dominica, Saint Lucia and Grenada.
The enhancement of Antigua passport’s visa-free mobility is the achievement of months of negotiation between Antigua and Barbuda as well as multiple countries, including Russia, Kosovo, India, Bolivia and the United Arab Emirates. More negotiations will take place in the next few months.
