Canadian Immigration Department Announced to Open Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP) 2020 Soon
  • Posted 20 Dec, 2019

Canadian immigration department IRCC announced that Canada Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP) 2020 would be open soon on Dec 16th, 2019. Details concerning application, including the concrete date of opening and quotas imposed for 2020 are pending until further notice.

Canada Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP) attracts wide attention from Canadian citizens and permanent residents every year, especially after the admission quota allotment was changed to be conducted on a "first-come-first-served" basis. However, this may not necessarily be good news. The quotas imposed for 2019 were 20,000 – seems a lot, but they were exhausted in 11 minutes only.

As one of the world most popular immigration destinations, Canada welcomes hundreds of thousands of new comers each year. Canada Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP) helps these new immigrants complete family reunification after they have acquired Canada citizenship or permanent residency.

The program is expected to be popular as before in 2020. It is suggested that documentation preparation could start as early as possible, or the application may fail to be submitted before it runs out of quotas. GLOBEVISA GROUP, immigration industry leader that successfully helped multiple clients apply for Canada Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP) in 2019, has already seen a rapid increase of enquiries in the past few days.
